Initial tryouts take place Friday October 10th at the Charles River School in Dover, with future tryouts being held later.

What is the purpose of the Wolves winter futsal program?

• Continued playing opportunity for passionate players who want to play year-round soccer.

• Player Development - Futsal is a fast paced, close-quarters game that requires quick thinking and even quicker feet.

  • Reframe your outdoor soccer knowledge with a higher emphasis on positional rotations, combination play, and speed of play.

  • Improve your technical skill in tight space while receiving significantly more touches on the ball than outdoor soccer.

• Competitive Play - Our Futsal teams will be selected via tryouts and individual team placement will be merit based.

  • Professional evaluators will run the tryout process.

  • Our program is based on honesty and integrity. Teams will not be created without enough players of a similar level, there will be no double rostering, and teams will be placed accurately to their skill level in the league.

  • There is no required level of play, all players are recommended to try out. Teams will be formed in the order of First teams, Second teams, and so on, based on player population.

• Have Fun being a part of a futsal team - There are no real stakes here besides the experience itself, unlike outdoor club soccer or high school soccer, so therefore the experience is the priority.
