Tristan Roveto

Founder and President of the MWFA, Futsal Teams Head Coach, Summer Program Director

An avid reader, writer, retired professional cook, and athlete, Tristan is currently a personal trainer, professional youth soccer coach, and entrepreneur. With a decade of coaching and training experience blended with years of experience in traditional professional leadership roles, Tristan has brought his knowledge and passion together to create the MWFA. He originally entered University to become an astrophysicist, and although did not pursue that path long-term, that scientific thoughtfulness has been key to his approach in the world of youth sports. The process of coaching, and running a business, are both based on systematically breaking down core components of a system, analyzing their parts, and reconstructing it all with new wisdom. This scientific approach mixed with creativity, a passion for life, teaching, health, and soccer, has created the culture and identity of his students, clients, teams, and the Academy itself. Everything is about the joy in exploring and chasing after your own potential intellectually, physically, artistically, and socially, while making the most of every moment.

Gio Frizzio

Gio is a long-time professional coach working with companies such as AC Milan Youth Academies and the New England Revolution Youth Academies. A player favorite in the programs he works in, Gio has the ability to keep players engaged and specializes in creating fun, high energy sessions with a technical focus. With a special love for Futsal, he is a great addition to our program and brings decades of experience to our winter Wolves program. An operations manager in medicine off the field and a life-long soccer player and fan, Gio takes care of his players and their development with constant smiles, professionalism, confidence, and positivity.
