Find the Right Program

MWFA runs two programs in the soccer off-season — a competitive winter futsal club and an individual-focused summer training program. Both are designed around the same principle: structured development that translates directly to your main team.

Winter Season · November – February
Wolves Futsal Club
Competitive Club Teams · U8–U17

Tryout-based competitive futsal teams playing in the Mass Youth Futsal League. Apex Teams compete at the national level within USYF. Three regional tiers — Dire, Gray, and Red Wolves — provide the right level of competition and development for every player. One dedicated coach per team, and a gameplay model no other program in Massachusetts has.

Academy Summer Training
High School Preparatory Program · Grades 8–12

A professionally designed, curriculum-driven group training program. Not a camp — a structured development program with a defined learning outcome for every session. Evening sessions twice a week all summer. Buy session credits in advance and attend the evenings that work for you.

Structured Development.
Individual Results.

Our mission is to provide structured development during the winter and summer off-seasons to help players reach their full potential. We are an education-first organization that runs programs designed for individual player improvement.

Every program we run is built around the same foundation: intentional session design, licensed coaching, individual feedback, and a curriculum that gives players a reason for everything they're doing on the field. Players don't just train — they understand why.

One Coach Per Team
Every Wolves team has a single dedicated, USYF-licensed coach. Not a rotation of staff.
Flexible Scheduling
All programs are designed to work around your existing soccer commitments.
Real Futsal
We play futsal, not indoor soccer on a futsal court. Players learn the actual sport.
Off-Season Specialists
We exist to make your player better for their main team. That's the whole job.
Player Development Model
Technical
The Five Fundamentals
Receiving, passing, dribbling, ball striking, and tackling — trained to the standard the competitive game demands.
Tactical
Decision Making
Field vision, positional awareness, real-time strategy, and the ability to adapt under pressure.
Physical
Athletic Development
Running mechanics, explosivity, strength, conditioning, and injury resistance specific to the game.
Mental
The Intangibles
Coachability, composure, intensity, leadership, and the discipline to compete and improve consistently.
What Sets Us Apart
The only youth futsal club in Massachusetts with a defined gameplay model.

The Wolves Futsal program is connected by our Futsal Gameplay Model. The Gameplay Model is a comprehensive breakdown of the 4 main states of gameplay, the principles of play that make up each game state, as well as the 3 main formations and positions of Futsal. We don't want every team playing exactly the same way, we rather want the coach to lead the team based on their evaluation of the team's unique strengths and weaknesses. The gameplay model ensures that each player and coach has the tools to understand the individual principles of the game and can then use those principles to build a style of play. Everyone in the club uses the same language and understands the same ideas while learning real futsal tactics but has the flexibility to apply those skills in their matches in the best way for them. In this way we achieve the highest levels of potential performance and education throughout the club.

The Coaching System
The MWFA Coaching Pathway
Every coach develops through the same system.

MWFA runs a structured in-house coaching development program. New coaches enter as assistants under Tristan's direct mentorship, learn the curriculum and coaching standards, and progress to leading their own teams when they're ready. The result is a coaching staff where every person operates from the same system and holds the same standards regardless of who is on the field that evening.

Our Coaches

A mix of experienced licensed coaches and active collegiate athletes who bring a current player's perspective to every session. All USYF licensed. All coaching from the same curriculum.
